Well, folks, it's been 10 days since I brought you a report. Sorry for the delay. I did get my substack out four times last week and I've gotten it out again this morning, and I have to say there's a lot of updates to the news. Before we get started on the news, I want to ask you, do you know why Greenland's flag is not green? Well, I don't know either why it's not green, but I do know why it's red. First of all, red is a holdover from the Denmark flag, and on the Greenland flag there's a circle in the middle. It's half red and half white that represents the rising sun and also represents the ice and snow of the continent or the country. What I thought was most interesting though was that the flag for Greenland was only adopted in 1985 when I was just a teenager.

And speaking of Greenland, JD Vance and his wife, Usha, Usha, whatever her name is, went to Greenland the other day for basically a three or four hour tour. They only went to the Space Station outpost a thousand miles away from any people because nobody in Greenland wanted them there. And Trump has said, we are going to get Greenland. Absolutely. He claims there's a strong chance of a peaceful deal, but made it clear that all options are still on the table implying potential military force. The US previously attempted to buy Greenland in 1946 for a hundred million dollars, but Denmark refused. In other US news, Trump has car prices going up because of 25% tariff on all imported vehicles, which is to take effect on April 2nd. His quote, I couldn't care less when it comes to automakers hiking prices.

In more bullying news, Trump has told Iran that they will see bombings like never before if they don't agree to a deal talking about nuclear proliferation or whatever you want to call it. In a move to silence independent journalism, a judge blocks Trump's effort to dismantle the voice of America, calling it a classic case of arbitrary and capricious decision making. And last but not least, GOP headquarters were set on fire in a suspected arson case in Albuquerque, New Mexico. No suspects have been identified yet, but officials are investigating whether this was politically motivated. This incident comes amid rising tensions and political violence across the country. Now, that's it for today's news. That kind of covers a little bit of the weekend, a little bit of last week, and will make sure to come back within the next week to give you another update. I do daily news reports that are bullet point news so it's easily able to be broken down and absorbed, consumed by the reader. Very quick, and then you have the words you need to go and search further if you need to find more information on a particular topic. Have a great day.
