(00:48):
What do I see? Ooh,
(00:51):
That's medicine woman, seer, and spiritual mentor, Trisha Condo. She lives in Eastern Quebec, but we met online in a business class. I had a feeling she would bring a unique perspective to the conversation of what's happening right now in the world. But I didn't expect her to say that this is the toppling of the patriarchy Trisha mentors, deeply intuitive women to unleash their gifts, to attract abundance, be empowered and gain confidence in connecting to their guides.
(01:29):
There's a few struggles that I see. Um, I believe what's going on right now in the world is patriarchy is the whole system is breaking down. That is what I'm seeing. And a lot of people are saying, Hey, we cannot run. We cannot run like this anymore. The masculine way is not working for us anymore. We've evolved. We've grown since the 1950s. And I see it everywhere. I see all the minority groups are no longer saying, Hey, you know, I'm no, we're no longer like this. The marginalized groups are like, no, they're like this. And they're saying, you're not ignoring me anymore. You're not gonna, you're not gonna do this anymore. So I see like one of the problems is, um, racism, systemic racism. That's coming to the surface. You see it everywhere. So black people, you see it with brown people, you see it all across the board that is coming.
(02:39):
And that is part of the problem. And that's the biggest problem. And you you've been seeing it through the pandemic. And that's what I see is one of the problems is that is it's, it's a problem because it's like acknowledging the pink elephant in the room. You know, you can only ignore it for so long until you get more pink elephants coming in and stomping everywhere and saying, Hey, this can't continue. And so that is what I'm seeing. I don't see it as a problem. I see it as, uh, something that needs to be resolved and it's, and it's doing that, that energy, that old energy of, Hey, we're not being suppressed anymore. We cannot sustain this anymore. So you're gonna have to look at us and make us an equal. That's what it is. Equalizing the medicine wheel, which is it's been outta balance for a long time.
(03:43):
That's what I'm seeing is, is, um, the races are starting to be balanced and that's really scaring. A lot of non-native people I'm calling them. Non-native Caucasian people. Now they're starting to rattle the cage. they're rattling the cage. Another problem I seeing up in Ottawa, the convoys of truckers, they're saying, uh, this can no, you know, I understand people have had enough with everything that's going on in the world, but they're saying, Hey and and is there they're making change? Yeah, I see it. Am I in total agree? I'm not for or against it. I'm I'm not in it. And um, I choose to be that way, but I just see a lot of change happening. I do

(05:03):
The other thing is alternative modalities healings. I find one of the things of problems or the issues that I see is it used to be just one way, the westernized way, you know, you know, the problem of going, going, going, going, going, going, going, and burning out. You know, that is no longer sustainable. That kind of way of just, you know, I've gotta keep up with everybody, you know, and I find that being real is starting to be one of the things now being, you know, hiding everything. That's not working anymore, hiding who you are hiding. You know, that you're, you're, you know, one of the things is depression, anxiety hiding, all of that. Ooh, that's coming up, you know, everybody experiences, but nobody ever wants to talk about it. And so that is one of the things that's coming to the surface. You'll you're gonna be seeing that more and more people are gonna be talking about that more and more and more.
(06:13):
And, and I definitely see that more races, especially the marginalized ones are gonna be speaking up more. I definitely see that happening. I see a lot of indigenous people rising up more and being more recognized. You're gonna see that more recognized. You're gonna be writing more books. They're gonna be in books. They're gonna make a movement. I already see it already. And you're gonna see more. Yeah, you see it everywhere. You know, you can't ignore us anymore. you can't, you know, the graves are being unearthed everywhere. The earth wisdom is starting to be really predominant right now. Everything is starting to balance itself out. And some people are, are coming to us as an indigenous. I'm an indigenous healer and a, a seer and a spiritual teacher. So I see a lot of people, especially non-natives. I say that with a lot of respect, they're coming to me in the truckloads, they're coming and they're coming.
(07:20):
It's not because you know, I am a teacher, you know, I have a background in teaching. I went to university, I was in school for almost nine years, almost like a doctor . And I have that background in teaching and that has helped my practice. It has. And so with that being said, all these alternative, um, modalities and healings, especially, um, native wisdom and indigenous wisdom is really starting to be, um, the go to thing. Now I'm seeing it. And I feel like others are too, you know, Chinese medicine has come into the forefront. You see, um, um, the black people, I really love them a lot. African Americans, you're starting to see it more and more. And I just, you know, the other races too, and the other cultures, you're starting to see the more coming, coming out, like gal Gado. I love her. And she's, you're starting to be, you know, they're starting to rise. They're starting to be more recognized. And I really, really, I love gal by the way, and you're starting to see more and more of them starting to be recognized. It's not. So you know it, and it's about time.
(08:42):
Trisha makes a great point about the races evening out. It makes me think of how the world gets dominated by one or two types of people, regimes or power structures. And it spreads quickly around the globe. That leaves a feeling of being off balance out of sync and something needs to let up to lean into peace. I asked Trisha what she does to help people who come to her.
(09:10):
I'm a former elementary middle school teacher. I was in the school system for about 12 years and I was in education administration for about five. So what I did is I just married my experience. I married native American spirituality, which I knew, and I married what I learned from other, uh, spiritual teachers. What I learned about was intuition. And so what I did is I made it into a business when the pandemic hit, I was like, Ooh, what am I gonna do now? so I went online even more. So I hired non-native mentors because there's, there's really none like me indigenous mentors out there. It it's rare. It's very few. So I saw something that was missing in the online space and I said, okay, I'm gonna create it. So I, I really expanded my business more. Um, you know, I, what I do is I really, um, help a lot of spiritual women who have lost themselves who have lost their voice, who have been stuck in, you know, in their jobs, in their, um, maybe haven't unleashed their gifts yet, you know, their intuitive gifts, their spiritual gifts.
(10:42):
And I really bring their true selves out and I help them connect with their guides. That's what pretty much what I do. And that had been doing that for the past 26 years. And so when the pandemic hit, I had to be creative. like everybody else I had to hire, um, really expensive business mentors. um, I, I had to hire them and I'm like, okay, I'm getting serious. And I was guided to many of them. And I said, okay. So I'm also a seer. So along withed answers is, um, what you would call an indigenous psychic. So I'm a seer. I see things happen before they're they, they happen. And I, I hear guides. I hear the spirit world. I see it. And I also, and I'm also a medium, so that's pretty much what I am.
(11:39):
I asked Trisha what she actually does with someone to help them make a transformation. I also asked if it's something that needs a bit of maintenance, like other wellness aspects of life. She goes into the, she uses like Oracle cards, meditations that she's written native American ceremonies and rituals. And she guides them to have intuitive confidence as their cheerleader. They learn how to help and heal themselves to not create a codependency with her, but to empower them.
(12:16):
My whole idea of, of, of the transformation is for an example, I, I, I've worked with women who have never touch, uh, Oracle cards ever in their life, like zero, but they've had a bit of intuitive sense, right? And so what I do is I'll, I'll teach them to really come back to themselves. And what I do is I do use a lot of, um, native American ceremonies and rituals and meditations that I've created over the years. So I take them from really being in their heads and second guessing themselves. And then what I do is I kind of, I do guide them, sorry, that's my dog. I, I guide them and I mentor them. And I, I instill a lot of intuitive confidence in them. And I make them, I, I don't make them, I, I cheer them on. I use my intuitive sense, you know, I see things.
(13:20):
So I tweak them along the way. And that's what I do. And I notice there's a big transformation, cuz I use a lot of my, um, it's a lot of spiritual guidance and I use my gray Wolf, my guide to help them. And I tweak them along the way and I heal them. So it's a three dimensional thing that happens on all levels. And so once I start to get them in contact with themselves, you know, reconnect with themselves or spirit and reconnect with others in a very healthy way, then they, and then I notice, and then I, then I become their cheerleader. And then I teach them all of these ways that I've learned throughout the years. And they've become a guide. That's what happens. They start to learn how to read cards, read energy, and connect with their guides. And, and it happens in a short period of time.
(14:18):
Sometimes it happens in three months. Sometimes it happens in six months, just the other day. I I'm actually working with a woman. She's a teacher. And she went from knowing nothing, nothing about work cards, zero. And then within three weeks she started reading cards and she started telling me the name of her guide. She started telling me her spirit. And so she started healing herself. I, what I do is I don't create codependency, no real healer should do that. Or teacher it's, it's unhealthy. I wouldn't want somebody to keep coming back and get and back and back and you know, and depend on me too much. But the thing is I CR I help them with the tools and, and hopefully they do stay. Most of 'em do stay and they wanna go further, become a guide or a mentor or teacher. That's pretty much what it is. Yeah.

(15:50):
I was very aware back then, but uh, majority of my family didn't want me to do this. So they really didn't know. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no. Especially my mother, even though she is, uh, a medium, she has told me some really interesting stories, seeing angels and seeing guides and, and, um, I was just, she only told me later on when I was later on in my twenties, she never told me when I was a kid. So all this time when I was seeing ghosts and spirits and guides and people talking to me late at night, like my mother never shared any of that. It was just like, obviously I, you know, it came from her or my dad. I was like, but she never mentioned anything. I think it, it, it had to be that way. I believe so. You know, I believe I, uh, that had to happen to me because I have a lot of people that come to me who are so lost and hidden and scared, just like my mother was, which is kind of an oxymoron in itself because it's just really interesting how things flip right now.
(17:10):
A lot of the, the students that come to me are like that they're very much scared and I make it, I wouldn't say normal, but I make it safe for them to express themselves. Like I have a teaching background. So I had a lot of, uh, experience handling, uh, very, um, excited children. And whenever I have a class, they were like, calm, like calm little ducklings in a like, like, calm, little, little ducklings, you know, floating in the, the water. And people were amazed. Like, how did you, these were the kids who were the most excited and, you know, entertaining kids, notice how I'm not saying bad they were very interesting. And they would be like little, little ducks floating in the water. And then people, you know, uh, people were amazed like, how are you doing this?
(18:11):
I think it had to do with my energy. I'm very calm, very grounded. Um, I think that's what it is. And, uh, and I knew how to tune into kids very fast. So I would know what would entertain them and what would make them very calm. Yeah. I think I'm more the feminine. Like I think I have more of the badass spirit in me and I think that's, you know, always at the same level as them, cuz they're very badass kids, so not that, but they were like the new, the new generation. Yeah. And we matched our energies, which is good. Is I know when I see rebels, I love rebels. I love them. That's why I could, I could relate to them. They were rebels and I love them. You know, , I'm a rebel myself so I can relate and I just knew how to manage that kind of energy. So yeah.

(19:48):
So as Trisha talks about the fall of the patriarchy, the rise of the matriarchy and about the balancing of races, her belief is that more people will get into cultural aspects of indigenous spiritual practices and that religions will shift or fall. People are going to be more courageous to speak up about things that have been swept under the rug for a long time.
(20:15):
I believe there's gonna be more rebels coming. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. This is just the beginning. Um, I believe that there's going to be more people talking about the other side. You see it with Anita and Marani, I believe she had a near death experience, but I don't think we're gonna have to go to the other side to, to find out express ourselves that way, but you're gonna see more indigenous and more, um, minority groups and more people wanna learn are ways the indigenous ways and uh, more the cultural ways because they've lost themselves. They lost a connection to themselves and they lost a connection to mother earth. You see it, the pandemic hit for a reason for a reason's to come back to ourselves. And some people are kind of fed up with all of it. But after the balance, I feel like there's gonna be a new way, a new balance, a new kind of communication, new kind of, um, traditions are gonna come back.
(21:25):
You see it already. I see it already. You would asked me, you know, 10 years ago, or more than that 20 years ago I was gonna be doing this. I would've said, oh my God, I don't think I'll do that. you're nuts. But no, I actually believe that. Um, we're gonna start to, you're gonna start to notice people more different kind of healers are gonna come up. They're gonna rise up remembering past lives, you know, remembering themselves as native Americans or other people, you know, you're gonna see more people channeling. That's gonna be the new thing channeling. You're gonna see people who are skeptical, become believers into this work. And you're gonna notice like more, um, more things coming out of the woodwork, like, um, things to do with the old ways like Atlantis, uh, not Titanic, Atlantis, like the old things that have been buried.
(22:34):
You're gonna come to the surface. I really believe that. And uh, people are experiencing more things. Uh, spiritual wise, I think religion is gonna kind of crumble. Yeah. It's gonna crumble. And the old ways are gonna crumble. The old ways of living is gonna crumble. Um, I think people are gonna the old people, not the old people. That's a wrong word to say, people are hanging on to, um, you know, intimidation, anger, hate. I feel like they're going to not know what to do. And I feel like the feminine is really rising. Oh yes. It's rising and saying, Hey, we're gonna do this. And more of a loving way instead of you know me against you, it's gonna be us and it's gonna come. It's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be messy. It's gonna be messy. Oh yes. Cuz we don't know how to do this.
(23:38):
Right. More brave, more courageous and speaking up, well, you hear it with Kim patrol, she started speaking up, you know, mm-hmm with, you're gonna see it in the celebrities. You're gonna see a lot of people. Just be more honest. Yeah. Being more honest. Honesty is, is not, uh, something we're used to, we're used to just, you know, putting, um, putting a pretty bow on it and then, you know, making it look nice, but that's not reality. You know what I mean? It's reality is like, you know this, you know, I'm having a really shitty day and I, I talk about it. You know, I'm not gonna hide that. You know, there's days where I'm like, I don't wanna do this. I need to step away. and that's when I'm on here too much. But uh, I love this too. You know what I mean? I get to go out and walk with my dogs and I get to, I get to reconnect with myself and be honest and say, Hey guys, step away in order to find balance, we have to be off balance. We have to understand the off balance. If we don't understand it, you know, uh, not understand it. We gotta feel it.

(25:26):
I've been so off balance. Holy geez. When I was in this really, really shitty relationship, it was very toxic. Um, in hindsight, I, I understand why it happened. Um, it was in 2002. I met this, you know, when you meet these certain men that are pretty and yeah, within the first, you know, few months I saw the real person and um, I saw the potential in him, you know, when you and I realized what was going on with me, it had to do with like low self-esteem, no confidence. And I was all alone in the city and I realized a year later I wanted to go back to school cuz I was very good at writing. And I, I had this urge, this need to go back to school and finish my degree. And I did what happened was the tower, you know, we ex I imploded and um, I, you know, I was getting beat up every weekend.
(26:34):
You know, I never thought that would happen to me. Somebody as smart as me putting up with that. And I did, and I finally walked away. I walked away and um, I walked away from my old friends too. I was working at the native woman shelter Montreal. I was a frontline worker. Imagine me getting beat up every weekend and having to serve these women. And I, I had bruises all over. And so, you know, I was juggling this job and this really crappy relationship and these friends who were just not there for me and I was drinking heavily. I was really drinking heavily. And one day I sat on the couch and I felt completely numb, just numb. And I didn't understand what was going on it's because my soul had left. My spirit had left because it was no longer happy. Then I realized what was going on.
(27:35):
Then I said, I had to leave and I left and I move closer to university. That was, I was meant to do that. so there's a lot of little nudges along the way that happened. And I trusted that for the first time in, in a long time. And I started trusting that more and more and more. And I started to, I found hay house, you know, Louise hay. And so as Ette and call it brand Reed and John Holland. And I got, and I bought everything those three ever created. And I started to read I wrote, I, I read a lot and I listened to their shows and, and then I started to, um, focus more on Sona Shek. I really loved her work and I still work with her. So I, I remember when she told me I was gonna become a spiritual teacher, I was like, really?
(28:31):
She was like, yep. And that was, I was very young. I, I think I just stopped drinking at that point. I, you know, I've been sober for about 15, 16 years. And when I stopped drinking, everything started reopening. I started meditating. I started to learn about aura's energy, um, intuition, mediumship. I learned all about that. And then I started giving readings like part-time then I got accepted into teachers college. I graduated, um, my grades were pretty high . Um, and then I got a job as a teacher. I really loved it. And then I outgrew it and I wanted to do more. And then I went into administration more and then I grew outgrew that really quickly. And then I stepped into more of running a spiritual business online. That's pretty much where, where I was going. I was like an intuitive guide and the spiritual mentor. And then I grew up in a sense, you know, and then I started to expand my business and I noticed I started branding myself and positioning myself. I understood what branding was. Um, my messaging, um, my us P I had to learn all of that. And, uh, I started hiring seven figure six figure business mentors, cuz I really wanted to be known in order for me to be known. I had to learn what are these women doing? You know, what are they doing? And so that's pretty much what I did
